Information we collect
Before you become a client, we collect what you give us: name, business name, phone, email, location, funding goal and language preference. After you sign an engagement, we may collect, through a protected portal and only as needed for your financing file:
- Identity and ownership records, including government ID and, only when a lender requires it, Social Security information
- Business formation documents, leases, licenses and insurance
- Tax returns, bank statements, financial statements, debts and operating expenses
- Credit information, only with your signed written authorization
- References you provide (name and phone)
How we use it
To assess readiness, prepare your file and credit memo, verify documents, match you with lenders, and, with your approval, submit your information to lenders you choose; to communicate with you; to process payments; to meet legal obligations; and to improve our services.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed: with lenders you approve; with service providers who work for us under confidentiality and security terms (for example our loan-management and document platform, e-signature, payment processing by Stripe, email and messaging, and credit or verification vendors); with professional advisors; and with authorities when the law requires. We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect it
We use access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where supported, protected upload links, and limit access to staff who need it. We ask you never to send sensitive documents by email or text. No method is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and authorities as the law requires if a breach affects you.
Retention
We keep client files for the period needed to serve you and meet legal, tax and lender requirements, then securely delete or de-identify them. Ask us about your file at any time.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, subject to legal retention duties, and you may opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link. Text messages are sent only with your consent and you can reply STOP at any time. Residents of some states have additional privacy rights; contact us to exercise them.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider and any embedded forms may use technical cookies needed to deliver pages and prevent spam. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
